Eligibility Requirements

Requirements vary based on the level of study:

1. Undergraduate (ISS)

  • Must be a full-time 200 Level student in a public university.
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.4 on a 5.0 scale (Second Class Lower).
  • Must have 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO including English and Mathematics.

2. MSc (ISS)

  • Must possess a full-time admission letter for an oil and gas-related MSc program.
  • Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) in a relevant first degree.
  • Must have completed NYSC or possess a letter of exemption.

3. PhD (ISS)

  • Must have a full-time admission letter for a PhD program.
  • Minimum of 2:2 in a first degree and a Merit in a second degree.
  • Research area must be directly relevant to the oil and gas industry.
