Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the 2026 screening exercise, applicants must closely satisfy the following institutional parameters:
- Applicants must be verified indigenes of either the Ilaje or Ese-Odo Local Government Areas of Ondo State.
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an officially recognized and accredited private or public university, polytechnic, or college of education within Nigeria for the 2025/2026 academic session.
- Postgraduate and Nigerian Law School applicants are eligible provided their institutional headers formally acknowledge their active studentship.
Ineligible Categories
The commission explicitly excludes students from the following academic programs:
- Part-time or sandwich courses
- Pre-degree and introductory remedial programs
- National Teachers Institute (NTI) certificate or diploma tracks
- Institutions lacking accreditation from relevant federal or state regulatory agencies.

How To Apply for the OSOPADEC Scholarship 2026
The submission process requires both online data input and institutional verification:
- Visit OSOPADEC bursary portal using the APPLY NOW button below.
- Input your personal bio-data and accurate bank account information.
- Upon completing your profile details, download and print out your unique generated Registration Slip.
- Take the printed registration slip directly to your institution.
- It MUST be physically signed and stamped by your Dean of Student Affairs or your Head of Department (HOD) to confirm your active full-time studentship.
- Scan the signed, stamped registration slip and log back into your OSOPADEC portal dashboard to upload it.
- Submit the final application form and track your verification status through the portal ahead of the closing date.
