Eligibility Requirements
The A*STAR Graduate Academy implements strict technical and performance parameters for all incoming candidate profiles:
- Candidates must hold, or be firmly on track to obtain, a minimum of a Second Class Upper Honours Bachelor’s Degree (or its institutional equivalent) in a relevant technical field.
- Your academic background or research proposal must fit within Computing and Information Science (CIS) boundaries (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Robotics, Software Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Non-Singaporean applicants must have completed, or be in the final stages of completing, a degree program at a recognized tertiary institution before the scholarship start date.
- Final-year undergraduate or master’s students are welcome to apply. However, formal confirmation of the award remains strictly conditional until certified proof of your graduating classification is provided.
- Applicants must express a dedicated intent to develop long-term computing research careers within industrial R&D facilities, tech start-ups, corporate labs, or elite academic circles.
