Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the 2026 IHE Delft MSc scholarship, you must:

  • Live and work in one of the following regions:
    • Middle East: Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Yemen
    • Horn of Africa: Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda
    • Sahel: Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Nigeria
  • Secure an academic admission letter for the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development.
  • Agree to conduct your MSc research in your home country or region.
  • Confirm your commitment to return to your country of origin or another priority country after graduation.

Selection Criteria

The selection committee utilizes a specific set of priorities when awarding scholarships:

  • Strong priority is given to female candidates.
  • Academic merit.
