Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to apply for the 2027 Cohort (applying during the 2026 cycle), you must meet one of the following profile timelines:
- For current students, you must earn your first Bachelor’s degree by August 2027.
- Recent graduates are to earn their first Bachelor’s degree within the last five years (January 2021 or later).
- Adult learners must earn their first Bachelor’s degree more than five years ago, and are 30 years of age or younger in 2026.
- Must hold an eligible Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent recognized by McGill).
- Must independently fulfill the academic admission guidelines and minimum English language proficiency requirements for your target McGill master’s program.

The scholarship application is handled entirely through an online portal and typically requires:
- Complete academic history transcripts.
- A comprehensive layout of leadership roles and community service.
- A personal essay.
- Two (2) Reference Forms.
How to Apply for McCall MacBain Scholarship 2026
Applying requires managing two separate streams: the scholarship application and the university program application. The scholarship application timeline happens first.
