Founded in 2005 under the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, CGI is a world-class, multidisciplinary postgraduate institution located in Bangkok, Thailand. Each year, the institute selects 15 exceptional international students for this highly competitive, merit-based award to pursue advanced research-focused Master’s degrees in the field of applied sciences.

Eligible Fields of Study
The CGI Scholarship is exclusively available for international candidates enrolling in a Master of Science (M.Sc.) program within the following disciplines:
- Environmental Health
- Environmental Toxicology
- Chemical Sciences
Scholarship Duration
The funding covers a 6-week mandatory refresher course followed by 2 years of full-time Master’s degree study. Continuous funding is subject to an annual review of the recipient’s academic and research progress.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this elite scientific scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Must be a non-Thai international citizen.
- Must be under 30 years of age at the time of application.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75 (or equivalent) in one of these relevant fields:
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences.
- Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology.
- Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Other related science and technology fields are also welcome to apply.
- Practical experience working in a scientific laboratory setting is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (preferably supported by standard exam scores like TOEFL or IELTS).
- Must have a clear vision and strong purpose for pursuing research in their chosen field.
