Institutional Framework
To participate in this program, applicants must coordinate with approved Colombian higher education institutions:
1. Host Institutions
The scholarship is valid at both public and private Colombian universities that are part of the 2026-2 Academic Offer Catalog.
- Admission Requirement: Applicants must secure admission to at least one (and up to three) postgraduate programs listed in the official catalog.
- Tuition Coverage: The specific Colombian university where the student is enrolled is responsible for granting 100% coverage of the tuition fees.
2. The ICETEX Platform
All financial administration, including stipends and travel support, is managed by ICETEX, the Colombian government agency for student loans and scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a foreign citizen without Colombian nationality.
- You must not have lived in Colombia during the six months prior to the application.
- Applicants must be under 50 years old.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 (or the equivalent on the Colombian grading scale).
- Must provide a medical certificate testifying to good physical and mental health.
- Must not have a marital or de facto relationship in Colombia.
