Eligibility Requirements
To be competitive for this PhD placement, candidates must satisfy the following academic and technical criteria:
- An M.S. degree in fisheries and wildlife, ecology, natural resource management, environmental science, data science, or a related field with a GPA > 3.5.
- High proficiency in quantitative ecology, including: Advanced statistical analysis and data visualization, GIS and computational modeling (specifically in R and/or Python), Remote sensing techniques.
- Strong scientific writing skills with a documented track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading community-engaged research in international or community-based settings.
- A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 90 or IELTS band of 7.0 (waived for students from English-speaking countries).
