Requirements
To safely pass the stringent screening rounds managed by SNEPCo and its university partners, candidates must meet all the following benchmarks:
- You must be a legal citizen of Nigeria currently living inside the country.
- Hold a degree matching or exceeding a UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) standard.
- Applicants must be aged between 21 and 28 years old by September 30, 2026.
- Candidates must have successfully finished their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program by September 2026.
- Possess an adequate command of English.
- You must hold a valid Nigerian International Passport with an expiration date extending at least until December 2026.

The NNPC SNEPCo postgraduate funding pipeline relies entirely on a “Merit Admission First” sequence. You cannot access the scholarship form without an existing academic relationship with the partner schools.

- Upon receiving an admission offer, the university’s international funding unit will automatically provide you with a unique link or electronic access code to download the official NNPC-SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship Application Form.
- Fill out the scholarship forms meticulously, attach your admission proof, and return the package through the university portal before deadline
- The partner schools will pre-screen submissions and forward the top shortlist to SNEPCo for the final physical or virtual interview phase
