Award Tiers and Financial Benefits

1. Florida Academic Scholars (FAS)

Eligibility Criteria

To secure funding for the 2026/2027 academic year, applicants must:

  • Be a legal Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Graduate from a Florida high school or an approved equivalent like home education.
  • Enroll in at least 6 credit hours per term at an eligible Florida public or private postsecondary institution.
  • Achieve the required scores on the SAT, ACT, or CLT by August 31 of their graduation year.
  • Complete the required volunteer service hours, paid work hours, or a combination of both as specified by the award tier.
