Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2026 Vice-Chancellor Scholarship, you must:
- Be an international student (not an Australian citizen or permanent resident).
- Have applied for, but not yet commenced, a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s by Coursework degree.
- The program must be CRICOS-registered and usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney.
- You must receive an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant round closing date.
- Students who have already commenced a second degree at the University of Sydney or those receiving other significant University scholarships are excluded.
Selection Criteria
The University uses a strict ranking system based on your academic merit. For undergraduate students, this is determined by your high school leaving results (e.g., ATAR, IB, SAT). For postgraduate students, it is based on your previous university weighted average mark (WAM) or GPA.
