Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2026 academic cycle, applicants must meet the following:
- Must hold, or be expected to achieve, a First Class Honours degree (or the international equivalent) at the undergraduate level.
- You must have received an offer of admission for one of the following MSc programs:
- MSc English Language
- MSc by Research English Language
- MSc Linguistics
- MSc by Research Linguistics
- While open to all, preference is often given to graduates of the University of Edinburgh and those applying for MSc by Research programs.

- You cannot access the scholarship form without a University User Name (UUN).
- Once you have applied for admission, log in to MyEd, the university’s web-based information portal.
- Within MyEd, locate the EUCLID section where the online scholarship application form is hosted.
- Fill out the Ailie Donald Scholarship application.
