Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the 2026 competition, students must:
- Be currently enrolled in a U.S.-based school (public, private, or homeschool) in any grade from K through 12.
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Have a signed entry form from a parent, guardian, or teacher.
- Create an original piece of 2D art that incorporates the letters of the word “Google.”
Selection & Judging Criteria
A panel of guest judges (including famous artists and educators) and Google employees evaluate entries based on:
- Based on grade group, focusing on skill and use of color/composition.
- How uniquely the student incorporates the Google logo into their art.
- How well the artwork and the artist’s statement convey the theme “My superpower is…”.
How to Apply for Doodle for Google Scholarship 2026
- Visit the official Doodle for Google website with the application link below.
- Print the entry form and template.
- Use any 2D materials (crayons, markers, digital tools, paint) to create your Doodle. Ensure the word “Google” is clearly visible.
- In 50 words or less, explain what you drew and how it represents your “superpower.”
- A parent or guardian must sign the entry form to validate your participation.
- Submit Your Entry: Online: Upload a high-resolution scan or photo (PNG or JPG) to the Google portal.
- By Mail: Send the physical form to the address specified on the official entry template.
- All entries must be received by April 30, 2026.
