Application to apply for the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) Scholarship for the academic Year 2026/27 is now open, and non-European citizens can apply for the Scholarships offered by the University of Eastern Finland. The Studies in these programs will begin in the autumn of 2026.
The University of Eastern Finland is looking at welcoming approximately 2,000 international students from over 100 countries, and as a public university, its scholarship applications are asked to be submitted simultaneously with applications for admission to Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Eastern Finland Scholarship:
- Be an international or a Finnish Citizen.
- Have completed a secondary education (for undergraduate) or a bachelor’s degree (for master’s).
- Both Finnish and international applicants holding a relevant Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for admission to Master’s degree programs.
- Meet the Specific Program requirements.
- Meet the English Language proficiency requirements of the institution.
A language test is not required if the applicant has completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or higher degree in English language in EU/EEA -countries, or in one of the following countries:
