The NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship is a financial award for undergraduate students studying engineering, science, and related STEM courses. It is offered by the National Institute of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES) This Scholarship will award a sum of N1,000,000 to five undergraduate students of Nigerian tertiary institutions who are studying science and technology courses.
The total amount for this scholarship is N1,000,000, the number of students needed is 5, and each student is to be awarded with the sum of N200,000 only for a full academic year.
Selection of Candidates
Applicants of the scholarship program will be evaluated based on:
- NIPES student membership status.
- Quality and content of the personal statement.
- Demonstrated passion for engineering/science.
- Completion of a NIPES course and explanation of learned skills.
- Alignment with NIPES values and mission.
Eligibility Criteria for NIPES Scholarship 2026
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Studying science or engineering-related courses.
- Open to students in 100-level and above.
- Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least one free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.

To apply for the NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;

- Complete a free NIPES online course of your choice here.
- Submit your personal statement (500-750 words), explaining the skills you learned from the course and how they apply to your academic or career goals here. NB. Provide proof of enrollment and student ID and Include your NIPES membership number (if applicable).
