Selection & Assessment Criteria
Securing this flagship funding package depends on academic excellence and a clear alignment with global impact strategies:
- The formal selection panel prioritizes candidates holding (or expecting to receive) a First-Class Honours degree or its absolute international equivalent. Applicants holding a high Upper Second-Class degree (2:1) can apply, though first-class records are heavily preferred.
- Your personal statement and academic history must clearly map out how your chosen program of study directly benefits global sustainability and helps solve critical societal or climate-based challenges.
- While you can apply for the scholarship using a pending course application, you must secure an unconditional offer of admission by the time the central scholarship selection panel convenes in July.
