Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 Schwarzman Scholars cohort, applicants must meet the following:
- Must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their enrollment year.
- Applicants must be proficient in English. If English is not your native language, official test scores are required.
- Unless you graduated from an undergraduate program where English was the primary language of instruction for at least two years).
- Candidates are expected to demonstrate extraordinary leadership skills, exemplary character, and the ability to anticipate global trends.
- No IELTS Required (Proof of English proficiency needed)
Required Documents
Ensure you have the following scanned and ready for your online application:
- Maximum of 2 pages Resume/CV.
- Academic records from every college or university attended.
- Three (3) letters of recommendation are required.
- A 750-word essay describing specific examples of leadership and your ability to drive change.
- A 500-word essay outlining your professional goals and why you need this program.
- A short self-introduction video (maximum 1 minute).

A selected number of candidates will be invited for interviews in late October and early November. These interviews are conducted before an international panel of leaders from diverse backgrounds including business, government, and non-profit sectors. Successful candidates will be notified shortly after the interview period.
