This scholarship is designed for graduates who wish to pursue a Master’s degree either within Nigeria or at top-tier universities overseas.
Award Categories
The scholarship is divided into two distinct streams:
- Overseas Category: For study in reputable international universities.
- Local Category: For study in recognized Nigerian universities.
Note: Candidates applying for the Overseas category are encouraged to also apply for the Local category as a backup.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2026/2027 NNPC/Agip Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
- Must have secured a provisional admission for a one-year Master’s program for the 2026/2027 academic session.
- Candidates older than 28 years of age by December 31, 2026 are not eligible.
- Completion of the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Overseas applicants must possess an International Passport valid for at least one year starting from September 2026.

- First Degree Certificate.
